How do you pluck up the nerve to talk to a woman who was your idol at 6 years old...? I was one of those children who grew up with the Kylie phenomenon... Neighbours... I should be so lucky and the Locomotion (which I performed as a seven year old to about 200 people...badly) To talk to her would be daringly courageous for me (and not least because I have a gammy lip at the moment lol!) because when faced with a woman who has conquered serious illness, whilst remaining a style icon and one of the best performers in the world...what do you say? (knowing me I will get the giggles...) I guess the 6 year old inside of me is already jumping up and down (we got our tickets as soon as they came online) and I know that to meet her would be memorable (hey kids...when mummy was little she had this idol and one day she was so lucky she got to meet her in person!) but this is more than just the chance to meet the woman who filled my childhood dreams - it is the chance to meet someone who has had a profound effect on the world. Anyway... my vote is for the little girl who has done so much work for the make a wish foundation... Humanitarianism should always be encouraged and Kylie might have some tips for her... but it there is a spare ticket going I hope it might come my way! If not I will see the lucky people bopping along to kylie no doubt, and I hope they enjoy the concert as much as I will!!!!
