My wife and I would like to go skiing this weekend, could anyone give us a lift somewhere from Lausanne.  Obviously we would re-imburse the driver and it would be nice to meet people too :)

Lena,

I recently discovered Sommand (Mieussy, France). About 1 hour drive from Geneva with lots of runs and some good snow left. The runs are on average more than 2 km's and this makes it more fun.

Make sure you get there early though... Ski lifts open at 08:45 and close around 16:30 / 16:45.

They have green, blue, red and black slopes.

Enjoy!

I'm intermidate level.

Thanks for this information, Jacobus. How can I get there? By bus or train?

Hi Lena,
I'd like to go skiing tomorrow, I'll most likely take a bus from the Gare Routiere de Geneve.
You can PM me..

Hi Lena,

I get there by car, so I'm not sure about a bus schedule. Also I've not seen a train station nearby, but I may have simply missed it.

Sorry I cannot be of more help :(
