Snowshoeing in Crozet?

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if there is anyone who tried showshoing in Crozet and it is possibe to rent the shoes from there upon arrival.

Also, has anyone tried booking ski lessons on the spot? or these should be in advanced booked ans paid for.

(Very new to winter sports)

Also, From Geneva to Crozet, is Bus F the right one to take?

Thank you!

Here is the website where you can get info on changing bus to Crozet.

If you really like snowshoeing with easy access transportation, the best place is St. Cergue (Train to Nyon and a separate train to St. Cergue or Givrine).

Or simply join one of the groups here.

Hi Gerald,

Thank you so much for the tip with St. Cergue. I think I will consider this one.

Have your tried it before? Is it possible to get the shoes there?

Thank you >(

Yes you can rent it from there. There would be a lot rentals up there.

Hello Roxana,

Today I did a one to one lesson ski in Crozet. It was very good, one hour is around 45 euros, 1 hour and a half is 65. You can book in advance in this phone number: +33 04 50 41 01 10.

The web is https://www.monts-jura.com/fr/ski-hiver/ski-alpin/apprendre-le-ski-alpin.html

The day was great, but the snow is not very good. Some places are ok, but others are full of ice and with not very much snow. But anyway, I had a very good day! Monday I'll do another lesson.

Enjoyt!
