Mirgros Brico had a special recently on two models of magnetic ski racks. About 30-40% off if I remember.

The good side of magnatic ski racks is that you take them off when not being used so you don't use lots more gas due to the effect of wind drag you have with the bar style ski racks.

You can try Jumbo too.  I know they sell them as well.  On the other hand I would say that I have a standard bar rack and it doesn't have much effect on my fuel economy and if you buy the right attachments they can used as a bike rack in the summer.
