Well, since one of the admins asked me to write something, here we go...I've been in Geneva for roughly 1 month now, currently performing some trade-related research as a practical extension of a trade law Master that I've attended in Bern last year...
I am probably staying until mid-2006, then, if all goes well, returning to my beloved and chaotic S?o Paulo to work again as a lawyer there..!
I have a few friends working for international organizations or NGOs, but don't know yet many good hangout places around here; it would be great anyway to know new, normal people with related interests or nice tips, or, who knows, to make real friendships..!
But please...no shallow or materialistic girls; I've seen plenty of them in Geneva and no, I am not interested...
Cheers,
Ric

Hi Ric, and welcome to Geneva! I know you asked for no shallow or materiastic girls to respond, but I just couldn't resist. ;-)
But a real question that I always have for people comign from Brazil: you guys come from such a warm and friendly country. Geneva is the exact opposite! don't you wilt here like flowers without water?
GOL is a god place to start getting some 'water', that is true.

Hey, I also used to be a lawyer from Brazil but quit my job in search of cold, snow, mountains and shallow girls
Welcome to GOL!

Tks man; just answering your previous question, I come from S?o Paulo...well, I love cold weather, but not shallow/materialistic girls...the normal ones are better, hope I can find them one day..!
