Hi all,
I'm wondering if there are any Lugano people here? If there are enough of you, the Glocals admin said they could create a Lugano section, which would be excellent...

oooh... Lugano-on-Line (!) and another "Julian" who's now about to kick start Lugano.  Hi Julian! welcome to Glocals. Post an event and you just might find folks (like me) who've never been to Lugano coming out there for the weekend.

Lugano-on-Line! ...Great initiative Julian (cool name too!)... I had a lot of fun getting Lausanners up on their feet, and now the place is stomping!!! ...with Lots of Lausanners organising things too!
Hope everything works out well, might take about a year tho' to get things really going, but it's worth it, so hang on in there! ...Slap up a 'Drinks Eve' to see who's around and have a think-tank session about all the various activities you lot can do in TI... May even join in on smthg one day; it's a beautiful place!

Hi Julian, Welcome to glocals. I'm one of the guys helping run it (with SiteAdmin). Actually, almost every week we get 1-2 emails from folks living in Ticino, asking us to consider opening a Ticino-glocals. We've been hesitating here, cos we're not sure there's really enough expats or locals-with-an-international-mindset in Ticino... What think? Is there a enough 'glocals' population in Ticino? Are there any big multinationals around there? Thanks, Nir PS - My parents just came back from a week in the Lugano region, and they said (I quote): "It's heaven on earth"
