Dear All,

For those who are too young and wondering who this pompous ass is, I’m not moving to Geneva for fiscal reasons and my wife definitely thinks I lack taste  I was just starting with the opening words to The Rolling Stone’s Sympathy for The Devil (and no I'm not a satanist...)!

OK that said, my name is Alex I’m originally from Iran (and no I don’t think the country should be bombed J ) but left at a young age and lived for some time in the US then in the UK and been in Paris for the past 20 years. I’m 38 (soon), married with two young boys and we’re all moving to Geneva late September.

I discovered Glocals a couple of months ago and am looking forward in being part of the community. I’ve always been in a culturally diverse and international environment and Glocals seems to be one hell of a great place to meet like minded people and discover the joys of living in Geneva.

Voilà…

Hi Arggg

Welcome to glocals and to Geneva

I think that a Stones quoting Iranian, American, British, French member should feel right at home on glocals :-)

The 'Should xxx bomb yyy' topic has raised a bit of a debate, and if you feel like adding your opinion, Im sure alot of people would find it interesting.

Welcome again, and see you in Geneva

Oded

Hi Alex,

I hope you find the community welcoming, fairly sure you will.  So are you living here now and your family is following later?

It sounds like you will fit in fine, this is a very diverse community.

Pleased to meet you,

you won't have to guess my name.

welcome,

Tonyt.

Thank you for the warm welcome Tony.

I'm in Geneva on and off but will settle permanently end of Sept, the family joining me early Nov.

Hope to start participating in the activities and meeting the Geneva Glocals crowd in Oct
