Hi all,
After a nice and long holiday, the time has come to get back to the real world... know the feeling???
I arrived in Geneva after 11 years in the UK working for various NGOs as a programme manager. I'm looking for opportunites out in Geneva, BUT unlike in the UK, there doesn't seem to be anyone in the recruitment business specialising in the NGO sector. I find this surprising given the number of NGOs based in Geneva and Switzerland as a whole. However, I might be mistaken! So, if any of you have come across recruitment agencies specialising in supplying NGOs then I'll be greatful for the info. And if there aren't any, I might have to set one up! :-)
I look forward to your feedback :-)
Mélanie

On the topic of NGO's, is there a website where I can find a list of all the NGO's in Geneva/Lausanne?

Thanks for the list.
As I feared, and from the feedback I've had from friends and family, jobs are published and positions filled on a who knows who basis rather than in more formal ways. Not a HUGE problem, but it does beg the equal opportunity question...
Food for thought... if nothing else!
