I need to relocate all of my possessions from Edinburgh to Geneva but am having a hard time finding international one way truck rental.
So if anybody would like to share the use of a truck (Luton sized van) and take the Geneva -> UK leg of the trip around Christmas time, then please get in touch and we can maybe work something out.

I tried the same thing some years ago. I think I managed to get Avis to do me a one way rental from Calais to Ferney Voltaire, which included being able to take the Luton van across to England and up to lincolnshire.
So I went Calais - lincolnshire - Geneva (well, saint Genis actually) and dropped the van off at Ferney Voltaire.
I have got some things to go back from Saint Genis to Lincolnshire, but do not know if I would be able to fit a trip in around this time of year.
When exactly are you planning to travel south from Edinburgh?
I think I can probably do a very good deal with a rental company in Ferney Voltaire (small one man business I have used for 7+ years) which would mean I could drive the van from here to Lincolnshire and unload. You could take it on to Edinburgh and pick me up on the way south again and I could share the drive back to Geneva with you??
But all depends on what dates you are thinking of?
