I have recently moved from Australia with my four legged friend. I was wondering if one is interested in a dog sitting circle so that we can look after each other's dogs rather than putting them in kennels or paying expensive dog sitter/walker fees when we have to go away / travel on business.
I'm happy to start the ball rolling and offer to look after your K9 if you are going away.

I love the title of this thread - sounds like some kind of off the wall meditation group. And I LOVE the photo of that dog in the snow!
seriously, I think getting together to organise help is a good idea.I am lucky where I live to have a cat - loving neighbour who is almost always able to help out. Otherwise kennels are expensive and not always easy to get to if you don't have a car.I am sure other Glocallers can help you sort out a kind of network.
