Exchange my English for your French - Vevey or Lausanne

Hello! I have just moved to Vevey and I am looking for a language exchange to improve my spoken French. I studied French to degree level a few years ago and although I’m able to understand most things I have difficulty speaking French and I would like to improve my confidence and get back to a decent level J


English is my mother tongue and I would also like to meet with a native French speaker to practice and in return you can practice your English with me. I have done language exchanges before when living in another country and I am patient and can help you to improve your spoken English. I would be most flexible to meet on weekends or some evenings depending on the day and location.

i'm back to Geneva in June From US ( Seattle ) ...so i will like also keep my english ...we can exchange My native French for your english??

Hi Guys, heres an idea. I have been in geneve a couple of years and feel real guilty for not giving french my best shot. I took some french courses here and there but mostly the courses were too slow for me and the classes too big maybe. anyways I was thinking maybe a group of 4-6 people with language exchange 2/3 times a week could be a good idea. also maybe watching french films etc on a weekly basis and discussing the same or something. so let me know if you had any success in your pursuit and maybe we can look for a few more people as I would imagine there would be on this site and start a french culture team/course/club or something.. keeping it real yet informal maybe? cheers
