Geneva: My French for your English

I am looking for people that would be interested to exchange English for my French.

I am French native and I need to improve my English to apply for better jobs, my English is OK but not perfect.

Would be happy to meet for coffee, drink or else.

Hi,

I am a native English speaker from the US and my French is very poor but I want to learn more.

Cheers,

Bonsoir Gaelle,

Je viens des Etas Unis, l'anglais est ma premiere langue. Mais, je reste a Geneve pour cette anne. Je voudrais practique ma francaise plus souvent. My French vocabulary is basic and I would like to learn more words! :)

I am from the mid-west in the US, so I've been told my accent is easy to understand, I'd be happy to meet up with you to talk sometime to help you practice your english!

Your written English is very good...

Just a little correction....

When you use the term/phrase "or else," it generally means "if not, something unpleasant will happen."

So, for example, you might say to a guy, "[D]on't be late again or else (...that's the last time we'll be seeing each other, you bastard/wanker/jerk [or other insult].  The term "or else" is often accompanied by some sort of hand gesture....Wink

You might instead wish to say  "coffee, drink, or other arrangement."
