Today is out bad Saturday in Amsterdam...
"I used to love this hotel, but I will never come here again. The cleaning lady broke my laptop, denied it and then the manager blamed me for leaving my laptop on the room's carpet. So I wouldn't go there if you plan to leave valuable belongings in places where the hotel thinks it is ok to break them. Of course, no compensation for my broken laptop was offered. Best Western Dam Square Inn in Amsterdam deletes complaints from their Facebook page. Just so you know. They broke my laptop and won't own up to it.

@jose not sure what you mean exactly by "broken," but if you still have the laptop, just know that you can (likely) still get your data off the hard disk. I can help you with that, if you want. :)

"Broke" as in cracked or it just doesen't turn on anymore?
zonker can have some ideas about a screen that no longer turns on......there are many .

Anyway, I bought a new laptop today... and I've just got the message from Best Western Hotels Nederland on Facebook:

Yeah as a warning - maybe not best western, but crowne plaza, someone cloned my credit card there. NEVER trust any hotel.
