Bicycle brake parts - where to buy?

One of the springs on my v-brakes is damaged, or at least appears to be beyond my fixing ability.  Where might I be able to buy a replacement spring component?  Any tips?  Or even a complete unit, cheaply?

Thanks

James

Depending where you're located in GE, I highly recommend Hotpoint on 22, rue des Paquis.  Ask for Serge - he speaks english.

James, you may also buy all parts via Internet (e.g. www.chainreactioncycles.com) if you are sure what needs replacement.

Hi James,

All the big department stores (jumbo, migros do it/sport, coop brico, and others) have a bike section where the most common components are sold - including a complete brake unit- cheaply...;-)

For just a replacement spring, try a bike repair shop, like Hotpoint

Good luck
