Bike theft - Who has seen something?

Today at around 4 pm my red&black mountainbike was stolen at Rue de Rhône 4 in front of the shoe store "Chaussures Aeschbach."

It has fendors and the name of the bike is "Piranha" (please see the attached photo).

If you have seen something, please let me know. Or if you see someone riding it, kindly take a picture and send it to me.

Does anyone know where stolen bikes are being sold in Geneva? I would like to look for it there.

My bike was stolen too. Unfortunately I don't have a picture of it. I hear that Saturday mornings in Plainpalais are where you might be able to buy your bike back! Unfortunately I couldn't make it there today.

Wish I could help Nicolai but did you not have the cycle locked with a padlock?

Too much of a risk without unfortunately......

Thanks for your post Sheila.

The bike was locked with a decent padlock. Unfortunately, there was nothing to lock it to though.

But I was only in the store for 10-15 minutes and Rue de Rhone is a lively street, especially on a Saturday afternoon. The thief must have been quite skillful.
