Cat looking for a new home

Hello all. We are looking for a new home for our cat Batman. He is a 5 year old male, sterilized. He is an indoor cat although I think he would adapt well to a garden. He is very calm and loving. He receives you rolling around on the floor when you get home and loves to sit on your lap in the evenings. Unfortunately he has not adapted to the birth of our daughter. He is not agressive with her but he is jelous/afraid and marks her furniture/toys. We have tried everything for the last year and a half. He has always been very kind to children and loves to be around them. We are looking for a loving home that will care for him as much as we do. Someone recommended SOS chats and SGPA but the idea of a shelter makes me very worried. Any opinions/experiences on that are welcome.

It  is known to perturb cats (and other pets), when a new baby arives.

Some peope prepare for it  advance but if you did that or not there is stiil a good chance you can solve the problem and be able to keep him, be happy all together
