Coming "rainy" Sunday

I was just wondering if anyone had an idea of something interesting/fun to do this coming Sunday.

I have been participating in a post about going for an "easy walk" somewhere but apparently it will be raining.

I don't see much going on in the "things do do" section...

Any suggestions?

I would suggest going to a spa or hot bath place, but I recognise it is more a girly thing :)

Thank you Federica.

I was thinking about something like that indeed. Maybe Yverdon Les Bains.

I don't know any closer ones.

Closer to Geneva there are the Bains de Cressy http://bainsdecressy.hug-ge.ch/.

Otherwise you have Divonne les Bains in France, close to Nyon.

Right,

the only thing you can do here is going skiing...what about if you don't like ?

Geneva is really dead during sundays winter.. a movie ,a restaurant..?

the problem is the very boring atmosphere

The best thing to go to is the SPA, I agree

Ok. There is no consensus, If you are bored and you dont have anything to do  on the rainy Sunday just come to GLAND and we will either walk up the Jura or stay around and drink wine in my house. Send me a message for details. Cheers.

Tulio man,

We're all in Geneva. Isn't there something that we can do *here* that you could join us for?

Bowling? Ice skating? Movie? Drunken debauchery?

I could not disagree more that the only thing you can do here is skiing.

Come on, just because things are not offered on a silver plate, you still can look around and do many things. Just be a bit positive and proactive.

BTW, you also can organize something

The ice rink in Vernet is open till 17.15.

The one if Parc des Bastillons till 18.00.

Here it is the link if you`d like to organize an event but I recommend to do it under the to do instead of the forum.

I dont know if the resto is open in the afternoon at Parc des Bastions - maybe also worth to check...

I wont be here next Sunday - decided to fly to Vienna already in the morning next Sundayand already posted a concert at Victoria Hall from 5 pm for people who are bored....Smile

Hey! The thermal baths "girly"?? - nothing "girly" about them! A good idea for a rainy day.

But it's true,if you don't like skiing or winter sports, you're pretty well stuffed here in vaud(this is when I miss London!)

Best alternatives are the cinema, or.....like someone said, posting an event of your own on the "things to do" page.I'm sure you'd get loads of people signing up Tulio S.In fact, this weekend,I would have signed up for a "let's get together for a dink/coffe" posting in lausanne. And I'm sure I am not the only one.

Hope you survived the rainy Sunday OK.I did - but sometimes it's tough, isn't it?
