Hi all,

Does anyone have any experience releasing an alcoholic drink in switzerland? or know anywhere I can find some information? Even the basics would be great.

Thanks!!

I don't think a new alcoholic drink would have success; people here get drunk on Rivella... or raclette.

What a strange reply: Switzerland produces lovely wines and other beverages!

Are you planning on having your drink patented? If so you can submit your patent with WIPO: Any resident or national of a PCT Contracting State may file an international application direct with the International Bureau of WIPO as receiving Office, as an alternative to filing with the competent national or regional Office.

@ Karin: Patents are well suited for inventions that are easy to reverse engineer; that's generally not the case of drinks. They are thus much better protected by trade secret. If Coca-Cola had patented its recipy, it would be public since the 20's!
