Good Japanese Restaurant

Does any know a good Japanese Restaurant? Although I already know ta good one is not going to be cheap, affordable prices will be very apreciated.

If any one have any tips about it or want to recommend his/her favourite one, please do it!!! :)

Thank you in advance!

With the ridiculous cheap plane tickets, the weakness of the yen and the prices in Geneva... Save money and go eat your sushis in Japan.

CHF 10.- for 24 very decent nigiri, who can beat that?

You bet! You can get very good stuff for extremely low prices, but like everything in Japan, prices can get crazy too ($200 mango, anyone?)

Tanuki (Rue Vignier 5, Plainpalais, sushi-ya held by a Japanese couple) is not bad at all. It's a small shop (only a few side dishes, but good quality sushis), rather than a restaurant, which keeps the prices low. And since they have a deal with the café next door (you can eat your sushis there, providing you buy a drink), you got a win win situation.

I agree with Alexandre P, Kakinuma but you must book to guarantee a table as they are often very busy.

You have a really good one at rue de Chantepoulet named Miyako, and I also really love the Uchino in Versoix, both are really good. The kamone in ICC than Nir talked about is also good, but I haven't been there in a few years. All three are quite pricy.

For cheaper options, I like the Kirin, rue de Neuchatel. I heard really good things about the Nagomi, also in Paquis (rue de Zurich).
