How's your day going?
Few weeks ago a similar thread was started, and it got some amusing reactions. Let's try again - how's your day going today?

well not actually chilling, but having an AC at work really helps me work with ease.
ok so checked out some jokes and here s a cool one:

English teacher wrote these words on the whiteboard: "woman without her man is nothing". The teacher then asked the students to punctuate the words correctly.

The men wrote: "Woman, without her man, is nothing."

The women wrote: "Woman! Without her, man is nothing."

have a great day all : )

Today is actually a good day for me! I'm in the office (where else?), but it's going well at work. and my brother came here to visit me, and that's just making me happy. so a good day so far...

COOL! My day is hectic, even thou I try to keep it under control ...
but I went to the doctor and got great news today, now I am in the office snowed under work but that's because ... we are going on Hols in ... 1 day .... so I can't really complain about that. All my bags are almost packed, the weather in Italy looks cool and sunny (fingers crossed!) and tonight I am going to pool evening.
What can be better then that? OH well I am going to miss quite a few events, and my friends and ... Geneva ... during those 2 weeks .. but I already can't wait to be back.

SO today I am burning with energy, happy and looking forward to the next 2 evenings to spend some good quality time with my friends!!

Got out of work early, tried to clear up my flat (but didn't work), had a nice stroll in the sun at the lakeside in Nyon, and had the second best chocolate ice cream in the world (the best is a well kept secret) - see City Guide.

I'm not working a bit from my bed, folowing the most stupid injury I ever had:
I was coming in my office, slipped on the floor of my office for a few meters, finished in a chair, and had to go to the doctor (nothing too bad, ouf!).

and I've made dinner for a couple of girlfriends while we drink (too much) wine and smoke some cigarrettes. Honestly, I'm just happy to be alive and I'm grateful for everday that I don't have to worry about money, or a place to stay, or my job (because I honestly LOVE my job). We all like to complain about a lot of useless Sh*t, but at the end of the day I'm so happy to be in Geneva, to know so many wonderful people, and to be apart of a great crowd here on GOL, !!!!! Thanks for asking Nir and I'm so excited about the beach party on Sat! See you all then!

This morning, I open my house front doar and see and grandmother and her about 4 years old grandson. They smile and hold hands a way you feel love run throught them. I approach my scooter, and I hear an excited voice shouting "look, a trash truck !". As a matter of fact, that huge truck runs straight to me, a moody faced orange man holding himself at the back. Suddenly, the sad man's face lightens up with a bright smile, and he waves at someone. I turn around, and notice that lovely child waving back with an adorable smile. Those smiles were priceless. A bridge bypassing generations, social status, daily duties, everything. The boy admired the worker. The worker felt recognition. Both were happy. I was happy. On my scooter, I was later singing in my head "I see friends shaking hands, saying 'how do you do ?' they really say 'I love you'"...

Worth waking up :-)

It's 27 degrees outside, and our offices have niether windows or air con. So I am sitting here, sweating to death.

The heat seems to affect me a lot worse than it does the others in the office with me, cos they don't seem to suffer as much.

We're always hot here in Ghana. I am online looking for a new job in Europe. Will I ever find something in Geneva?
