Hi Stephen - PM me if you're still looking, I know a good tax expert.  You don't really want to be going with anyone that has just arrived in Switzerland, you need a 'Swiss' person that is expert and experienced in working with expats with overseas complexities.  My company just gives advice for investments, but obviously there's a lot of cross-over into tax - and over the last 10 years I've learnt from other people's bad experiences that it's best to get it right first time, because all of the cheap cost cutting comes back to bite you 10-fold in later years.

Hi Stephen,

I am doing both US and swiss tax returns, I used to work over 20 years for fiduciary companies, so it was our core business.

When u are taxed at source you don't need to do your Swiss tax return, but as they are taking extra more than they should in order to oblige you to do your tax return, if you don't do it, then you loose every year the difference of overpaid tax.
