Tomorrow night (Wednesday 29th) The Geneva International Book Club will be presenting and discussing "The Right Stuff" by Tom Wolfe.

It's a great book: it tells the true story of the first breaking of the sound barrier, the test pilots for US rocket planes, the emergence of the US space programme and the cold war space race. It's all related from the point of view of the pilots and astronauts.
