Yes, thats right I'm afraid...

Poor Insurance companies dont profit enought. 

The medical enviroment/professionals in Switzerland is well known to send patient for excessive lab test to everyone, so the bills just skyrocket, and max out the deductibles. 

Its crazy we have too many medical professionals, and we are like funding a socialism scheem to keep them very gainfully employed (driving Mercedes). 

They outsource or outpatient everyone, so they help eachother scam the system and insurance.

And is that the fault of the Patients? or just greedy doctors and Insurance companies?

In my experience they totally waste a lot of resources and expense by sending you for test and scans based on the assumption you have insurance and this is a good service. Costs you in your franchise and everyone in premiums. Find it very irresponsible. 

Your payments are of course keeping the huge pharmaceutical companies in Basel [and their shareholders] in the luxury they anticipate, as well as the many doctors and specialists ditto. Hence the never-ending waste of resources for tests, scans et al.

Increase your deductible threshold, pay less monthly premium, go to France (much affordable, as good)

Wholeheartedly agree! Our medical care here in France is absolutely excellent and we pay a fraction of that in Switzerland.
