bathroom under-the-basin cabinet

Hi people

Realistically speaking, this post should actually be under the Classifieds section, but as there are virtually never any of the above available, posting here in the hope that someone is kind enough to sell/give one [not for us but for a lady who is undergoing a painful relationship-breakup]. She needs one of those bathroom cabinets which fit under the wash basin with a U shape already cut out to accommodate the wastepipe. Would be super if anyone is relatively near to Evian too...... but in any case, thanks in advance.

You can find these cabinets in any of the big supermarkets with a household goods section in both Geneva and France.  They are easy to assemble and not expensive.  A friend bought me one at an outlet in Annemasse for something like CHF30-40.

It’s better to buy new or newly so because they are not usually really long life.

Best wishes, R.

I agree with Ritchie, they are not really long life, especially the cheap ones. And they may be damaged by water (or even moldy)

Talking about cheap: you can get the "Fullen" from Ikea for less than 20 CHF: http://www.ikea.com/ch/fr/catalog/products/70189022/

Being very upset with contributors who ask for advice and then never have the courtesy to respond, a profound thank you to you both for your help and for taking the trouble to reply.
