i need an advice of where or how can i find a venue to rent for my daughter's 1st birthday? we contacted our commune, but unfortunately, all salles are taken:( i tried kiddie club but negative... we just need a big room that will accomodate atleast 30 people parents and kids... really desperate to find a place that suits our budget because the event center is kinda pricey:( any ideas?

1) You may try churches facilities. They often have rooms to rent. It is not too expensive and it is peaceful. Check in your neighborhood.
Below is a link where you have a list of Protestant churches that you may call (scroll down to PAROISSES ET LIEUX DE CULTES); French will be useful on the phone:

I didn't run a search for the Catholic ones, but it should be the same.
2) You may also call the student residence (Carlton), in Paquis, they have a room that can accomodate your number...
