selling second hand books in switzerland

Hi, I'm trying to clean out my room and sell off books that I don't need anymore. Does anyone know where I can sell my second hand books? I tried amazon, but if the customer isnt in Switzerland, the shipping costs too much and I'm losing money. Is there a store to sell books in english in switzerland?

Thanks,

Alicia

Hi Alicia

Dont know where you live but years ago (more than 30years) they used to buy books in an English/Military shop in Basel vis-vis old Jelmoli. Dont know if that still exists - havent been in that area for ages.

Good luck

Dorothy

You could always try putting them [itemised] on Ricardo.ch but then be prepared to parcel them up and take them to the post office.

Otherwise try putting them on the Englishforum.ch and see if anyone is interested
