"Attestation de domicile" - Where from?
Hi All,

I am been asked for an Attestation de domicile as proof of my address, in addition to the rental contract which I have already provided.

Any idea where I can get such a document? :)

Many thanks

I have been able to obtain the attestation de non-pursuits completely online. Has anyone been able to do this for the attestation de residence? I have seen this page which outlines a mailed option... http://www.geneve.ch/ocp/monde.html#domicile  ...but would do it online if possible.
Thanks

Usually the residence certificates are issued by the office of the "commune of residence", not by Office cantonal de la population...

I just finished doing the process for an attestation de domicile.

The form is available at the Office Cantonal de la Population where they will also give you a small pink slip to fill in. I assume (in your case) that it is your landlord who will have to fill it in and sign it as well.

The Office Cantonal is in fact the one who gives you the attestation de domicile once you present both forms filled in, along with a 25 franc payment.

Good luck.

Hi there,

Thanks for the information.  Do you have any idea if the small pink slip you mentioned in available online?  Did you happen to see what that form is called?  If not, did you have to wait in line to get the pink slip?

Sorry for all the questions....

Carmen

Not totally incorrect, it depends on which canton.

In Vaud you go to the commune:
"Les annonces d'arrivée, les changements d'adresse, les départs sont à annoncer au contrôle des habitants de votre commune de résidence, de même que les demandes d'attestation de domicile."

In Geneva, it's the OCP.
