Any suggestions for English language activities for young children?

Hi, I am looking for after school activities for my children, aged 3and 5, which take place in English. Sports, activities, music, that sort of thing, and don't really know where to look. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi Ben,

My husband (american) and our two girls (2 and 3,5 years old) will be in Geneva in September, so if you are up for it, maybe we could have a playdate and get to know eachother's family. We could go to a park, play, etc.. just an idea.

I am Croatian, so both kids are bilingual :)

Thanks everyone for the suggestions - I will look at all of these. On the playdate thing, sure, just drop me a message.

Did anyone find any swimming lessons in English? That's another thing I was looking for!

Ben,

Where are you living?  If in Geneva, you can ask other families for ideas on www.bumpsnbubs.com.   In Vaud there is www.moms-in-vaud.com.

There are also facebook groups for Parents in Geneva and Neighbouring France.   And of course, knowitall.ch and croque-loisirs.com.

Hi Molly,

What is the name of the school you are mentioning? Do you have a link?

I am trying to find some activities in English for my 5 years old daughter. We live in Nyon and Gland is just "around the corner". She is native English (and Croatian).

Thanks,

Dragana
