Hi!
Here is a link to a list of endocrinologist; the second link is the for the doctors at the hospital HUG, where I go, my doctor is Patrick Meyer who is very very good and a nice person. The 3rd link is the adress of another very reputate endocrinologist in Geneva, Dr Jacot des Combes. I'have been once but I preferred dr Meyer. It is personal obviously.
Good luck!

I've just moved to Switzerland from France, I have type 1 diabetes, does anyone have any tips on good health insurance policies for diabetics here? I got 100% of my monthly prescription paid in France, do you know how it works out here?

My husband is the one with the diabetes and arrives from the States later this month, but from what I understand we'll still have a 10% copay up to a certain deductable annually and then it becomes included or free.

There is no "policy" here depending on your disease. You will pay as much as everybody else for basic health insurance - and yes, you pay 10% out of your pocket, plus the annual "franchise" according to your choice. Within these limits your treatment will be paid for.
Concerning the private supplement insurance (which offers supplements like private hospitals etc) it's a bit different, as they operate under private law. They might refuse you because of your disease (yes, it's their right...) or make you pay more.
In any case, if you get your treatment in Switzerland, your doctor will know about it - don't be afraid to ask about those things as well!
