I have a bill which i need to pay pretty much immediately.
Can i do this at the post office in Geneva?
I dont have a bank account here yet.. what info will i need to be able to make sure it gets to my account in the UK without any problems?

You should be able to pay any Swiss bill at the post office, I've never had any problems anyway. And it's probably the easiest place to open an account over here, not that it's a problem in the other banks.
