Best bread in Geneva?

There is Pain Paillase everywhere (quite average); there is Pouilly at the gare (rather good) but I still haven't found bread in Geneva that I think is GREAT.

Which is your perfect bakery? Where have you found the best bread?

Any Viennoiseries with great brioche?

Let's hear it. Share the wisdom!

You can find some good breads at "Votre Santé", bd Carl-Vogt (a small organic shop).

They receive gluten free breads on Tuesday.

And at Satoriz in Annemasse, they have various sprouted cereals breads, which are very different and nutricious.

I am bread obsessed and can recommend both the bread stalls at the Carouge market and one at the Plainpalais market (halfway down on the Georges Favon side). Sorry my details are a bit vague but I'm sure you'll find them.

Now I need to go and try Pain Gourmet -- I love seedy nutty bread. Thanks for starting this thread!

For those who like the "real" bread, go to the bio shop Satoriz in Ferney (Bus F and Y), next to the small carrefour supermarket near the centre,

my favorite is the pure or mixed epautre (spelt), seigle (rye) or kamut (ancient wheat), but plenty mix of others with nuts, or cereals more or less heavy

I must admit I came just home with a fresh loaf.....
