In general, Saturdays are bad for salsa in GVA.
Sporadic events from different dance schools, including one this week-end at the salle communale d'Onex.
Otherwise, there Brasseur des Grottes, on Saturdays, they start out as salsa, but I think it turns into other stuff later, so I suggest arriving early.
There's a group on facebook that lists some of the dance evenings:

Brasseur des Grottes normally starts around 11:00 pm but normally it starts to get packed at 12:30....
not sure but it seems to close at around 3:00am

Hi Cheryl, sometimes there are salsa parties in Thonex. The next one is this Saturday (6th of march), cuban style - parties are normally really good, they are at SalsaVirus school
