Bike Chain Help?

Hi any cyclists around the Nyon area able to help me repair my bike chain that broke today whilst I was riding OR know where I can buy a replacement tomorrow (Sunday)


Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

If it's really broken I don't think you can fix it. You may try one of the supermarkets in France for a new one, that's all I can think of.

Depends on if it's broken from being worn out or broken from misuse (shifting under power).  If it's worn out, the cassette and the chainrings would need to be replaced as well.


Either way, chains aren't very expensive, so I'd just replace.

Thanks for responses. The bike has done about 1500km so I wouldnt say it was worn out, I think I was changing gear under power.


The question is where will be open tomorrow to get a new chain, I won't get time dureing the week and am trying to stick to an exercise plan?

The bike shop next to the Gare de Nyon should have chains and you can go here quickly on the way to/from work.
