Can I carry a TV ( new) in tram and bus in geneva

Hi,

I will be buying a TV...it would be 55 inches...as it is new it will be well packed...I am told it is not too heavy so we are thinking of bringing it on tram and then by bus

Wanted to know if that is allowed in tram and bus here

As I read everything I see.... I read the rules for Geneva Public transportation and they say it's not allowed. But I believe a 55 inches TV it's ok, since it's the size of a bag...

I'd go to Unireso Mobility or something like that, website, and check if I can take it.

As for myself, I would do it. Since people here don't care much, and as long as you don't do it on peak time, I mean, it's not a couch or a bed..... I don't see why not.

I've carried a lot of stuff home on the tram and would just second the above recommendation: don't do it during rush hour. Good luck!

There is no worries about to move the TV by bus or tram.

Just take care that it doesn't get stolen.... jaja
