Re: Car buy/sale contract

I found comparis very useful when looking for certain information with regard to property / cars / insurance.
Here it is a link in English you perhaps find useful. If you scroll down - on the right hand side, you will find some tips and even a contract example in English.
"Does the vehicle have any known flaws?
yes,
no
Description of flaws: ________________"
Used cars – check the car thoroughly
When buying a used car, make sure to find out from the dealer if there are any problems or malfunctions
Check all documents. Watch out for suspicious gaps in service record. Check bills for extraordinarily high sums and enquire about them. Make sure that the official inspection and compulsory exhaust maintenance does not lie too far in the past.
Take the car for as long a test drive as possible and note potential faults.
Inspect the car thoroughly, for example with the help of a neutral motoring expert or a neutral party such as the TCS, especially if the seller is a private person.
Use a neutral sales contract without small print and only sign guaranteeing of at least three months without limitations for parts and work. If you are dealing with a commercial dealer, make sure to take out a guarantee extension through a guarantee insurance.
Use detected faults as an argument for a price reduction.
