Hi there,

Can anyone advise me of the name of a club, school and/or gym etc. in Geneva that could offer me space to do boxing and self-defense training?

Basically, I'm looking for a space for around 20 people, great if it has some boxing equipment.

Is there a one? The nearest I know is only in Lausenne.

Well, AIBA Geneva has a website. And you could always ask the people in Lausanne if they have anything to suggest.

Holmes Place (rue du Rhone) is a local gym that has 2 big studio spaces which they rent out. I know they run their own boxing classes, but maybe if you bring your own clients to your classes, Holmes Place shouldn't have an issue with renting the space to you.

I would recommend Geneva Fitness Center in Chambesy(At the Geneva Squash Club). The owner, Ryan Christie is a wonderful guy and he is here in Glocals as Ryan C. Their website is www.personaltrainergeneva.com and their contact number and email:

I agree about Geneva Fitness. Ryan is a great guy who's easy to work with, and the facilities are great: a big studio with big windows and no pillars in the middle.

So Chris, does this mean you are looking to offer boxing in Geneva at a gym or do you already have a boxing group that just needs a new place to work?

I have one working place, but I'd like to organize classes more often than twice a week in a new place/gym to make it convienient for new clients, therefore I'm looking for a new place.
