You will find that almost all doctors are "english speaking" .. As my doctor told once told me, much of training was in english.

You'd probably be better finding out "which doctor has receptionist who speaks english"  :)

That has not been my experience. Who is your doctor and what town is he in?

Have you asked at your  “Mairie”?  A local chemist may also be able to help.

And if you are teaching, why not ask your colleagues if they know of anyone?
