English-speaking physio AND osteopath

Hi all,

I'm looking for someone who is a qualified physiotherapist AND osteopath in Geneva, who speaks English (at least some). Anyone have any ideas?

My doctor has prescribed physiotherapy AGAIN for an ongoing problem, but every physio I've seen so far says I should see an osteopath, so I'm in a bind...

There are some similar threads on here, but not quite the same.

Thanks,
K

Try Cabinet Soussan. 7 Avenue Krieg, 1208 Geneve 022 735 1350

The main guy, Bruno Soussan is and osteo and acupuncturist. He speaks good English and treated me well. He has physios working there. The one who treated me doesn't speak and English, but others might, if you enquire.

Good luck.

If you go down the list (several pages) on the link below, of Osteopaths in Geneva, you will see just over 20 of them are both Physiotherapist (Physical Therapy on the list) and Osteopath.  Other additional specialities are also mentioned

Simplest thing is probably to phone or email each one (link available on their own personal page), or closest ones to you and ask if they speak English..

For physio I used to go to Mr. Yves Marinoni, near Terrassiere; he and his staff speak excellent English, seemed very knowledgable and were very friendly.

I warmly recommend Sven Onclinx who is a highly skilled osteopath

and physiotherapist with a wide range of skills including the treatment of respiratory problems, a specialty which is not easy to find in Geneva.

He is Belgian and speaks fluent English as well as his native Flemish and French.

La Colline has the most experienced physiotherapists. And it is a clinic so they are really the best

At La Colline you can have a waiting list of over a month even if the doctor prescribing the treatment is working also at La Colline.

I opted for http://www.physio-krieg.ch/fr/home/.
