Im in the process of buying a house in France (if i survive driving up there!) Is there anyone else who commutes daily from France (or any other place) to Geneva? From where, how long does it take you and how you do it? (car, bus, train?) I really dont want to live the convinience of my center of Geneva flat but the house is a really good opportunity :)

Founex (home) to Chambésy (work) by car 15mins.
That depends a lot of where in Geneva you work. Avoid crossing the lake/Rhone in your commute!

Ferney and Divonne to here , or saconnex, are about 20m by car...depends on accidents etc. currently in the monrings its a free ride.

From home to Bardonnex, about 20 minutes. Bardonnex to Park and Ride, about 5 to 10 minutes. Then another 10 to 15 by tram / bus to get to the office. I am in France, halfway between Belgarde and Annecy.
