Geneva’s Annual Festival of Trees and Lights: Exhibition and Photo Contest

As part of Geneva’s annual Festival of Trees and Lights (November 26, 2010 – January 2nd, 2011), the organizing association has announced a photo contest.  The winner of the best photo will receive an Olympus (Tough) digital camera.


The Association of the Festival of Trees and Lights has opened this competition to all amateur photographers who would like to immortalize the works of this 10th edition of the festival.  The principle is simple:  each participant may send his/her photo of the Festival and the Jury will select the three best photos.  The  top three winners will receive an Olympus digital camera.


To participate, send your photo and your information before December 31st, 2010 to the following address: : [email protected] (Please note: each participant can only enter one photo.
 
Contest conditions:  one photo per participant.  All photos will be free for use by  the press, the Festival Association, the Festival Sponsor and Grand Chelem Management SA.  Contest deadline is 31st December 2010.  Winners will be notified personally.  All  recourse to judicial procedures are excluded in case of dispute.

I'll 'fess up and admit it was sent to me by a trader... looks like it was the UK.. I doubt the Swiss would dare build such a one...


problem is... now I have a cunning idea for the snow in Chambésy...

Sounds like fun, if you need a sculptor's assistant let me know.  Or maybe have a snow sculpture contest?
