Getting Rid of a Piece of Glass

Hey All,

This is a slightly odd question - but what's the best way to get rid of a tabletop piece of glass (it's covering a pallette coffee table right now)? Since it's not safety glass it has to go since our son is already working on many potential ways to end himself with it.

It being a piece of glass I'm guessing you can't just call the service for this kind of thing like for furniture - you can't just leave a piece of glass standing out in the street can you?

Let me know if you guys have expierience with this.

Thanks!

Andy
