does anyone know if there is any bar/pub in Geneva which is open and not empty on the evening of the 24th? Probably from 11 pm or midnight on...

One place i can recommend (opened) is Labrasserie des halles, 5minutes walk fromGlobus, near Bel air, on the isle....ask someone, locals (if you manage to find one in GVA:=) know the place.
There is a set menu but you dont have to buy it if you dont want to, you can simply go there and have a drink...However, if you want to eat, much better to book. It is their first year, therefore they dont knopw how many people will turn up...people tend to book at the last minute...

I ll be there on the 31st with friends i think in case anyone is interested to join...

Christmas Eve: Whilst the Genevois tend to celebrate " en famille" on the 24th, we'll be staying open for a few Christmas pints. Hot wine & mince pies will be available

Yea I do work there in the office but not at night ;)
It is a fun place though if I do say so myself. Super comfy bar and I have met lots of cool people the few times that I have gone out there at night
