Internet Connection

Hi,

I will be arriving in Geneva on 2 Aug for 2 years period. I have rented a place for 1 month and upon arrival I will find a new place for a longer duration 1 year or more.

Can anyone suggest me for the initial 1 month what kind of internet connection can I use because I have plans to move to another apartment in Geneva.

If you don't need a land line then look at the 3g options. There are two advantages. You have it everywhere in Switzerland and second when you move appartment you're not going to be offline between de-connection from one place to the other.

That being said i don't know how slow things in this respect as I have not had to change address.

For the moment I'm happy with Swisscom.

If you use your mobile phone as a wifi hotspot.

If your laptop has a sim slot or you have a 3g modem.

Final option: Ipad

Orange and Sunrise also provide some options.
