pension and unemployment is NOT a tax.

The pension, is yours, and when/if you leave switzerland you can take these savings with you.

the unemployment insurance will allow you to claim chommage, should you be unfortunate enough to loose your job.

So yes it sounds right.

The other little things are probably your health coverage.

And even if that was taxes, 10% income tax wouldn't sound exaggerated either. Why do you complain?

Yes, for a single swiss person she or he will pay about 20% of salary between Insurance, taxes and impots.

Swiss people earn a lot of money but pay back a lot too :)

For Health insurance you will pay around 5000CHF between getting any money from the Insurance...

The tax, etc. for a single person can easily reach 32%, unless you have some deductions.

Oh cannot we edit our posts??

I used the wrong word in my last post. I said we pay around 5000CHF between getting any money but I would say we pay around 5000CHF before getting any money...
