Job hunt
I am looking for  a job in the Geneva having moved here earlier this year, does anyone have any good tips or tricks on how to progress. My background is in purchasing, jobs in this area seem to be non-existent at the moment.

I'm not the only one then. I think the economy has a lot to do with it. have you come across any helpful agencies?? The ones i have contacted haven't come up with anything yet, so any names you can give would be helpful, I might be able to give you some contacts as well if you let me know what type of jobs you are looking for.

hi all, i've put this ad up in the classifieds under pump up your value.

How can you ensure that your CV and cover
letter will be more attractive and have the impact you need to get on the short
list? How can you manage your interview so you will leave a good impression?
What are the the skills that will help you make an effective presentation? If
you find yourself presently in a situation which requires success in your job
search, don't wait until you have 20-30 negative (or no) replies.....all wasted
opportunities to get it right the first time.

yes, i do this as a profession and you will find that, like most of my candidates, they wish they had contacted me earlier. your success is my success.....
