If you have Legal Insurance, this is a classic case for them.
If you don't, I can recommend you a lawyer that deals with these things. However:
- cases like these are hard to prove. The employer can always claim that they sacked you cos of performance issues.
- the good lawyers are expensive, at ca CHF 500 per hour.
If you want the lawyer's details, pls drop me an email.

many thanks for emailing me.
During the offical meeting with hr non of work performance related issues were brought up. She was emotionally unstable on antidepression medication. He on the other hand liked me and was pretending not to see anything. Confirmed my contract after 3 months, when I came back from holidays she just exploded for no reason and he sat me down giving me two options or i take a notice (get fired..still no reason confirmed) or accept to work for him untill the end od the year and look for a different job.
it is a limited contract untill 2012 and I gave up a perfectly fine job to come to CH to work for him.
The options I was given are no options really...
i am just upset i never made a complain as i could not expect help going to my boss to complain about my colleague - his way who was taking it out on me in front of other people.
i am first trying to find a lawer who can tell me more about the rules here. i am still employed but released from coming to the office.
Have no legal insurance as i never thought about it.
Many thanks for any advice

Magda,
Try the good contacts that Betty sent you, they're indeed the best place to start.
I also just emailed you details of a lawyer specialising in employment law.
And for the future: get legal insurance...(-:

It is an unusall situation and a bit difficult as the guy has already had 3 assistants in the last 3 years (so I am told)... i am the 4th one
Have been a victim of that unstable person for 4 months and it is me now who they are getting rid off.
Anyway it is too late to sulk. Now it is time for solutions. If anyone else has ever experienced anything similar please contact me.
