I recently arrived in Geneva and am about 6 months pregnant at the moment. I am starting to get cabin fever, as I have absolutely no friends here (apart from my husband) and am not working! Are there any other pregnant women out there who would like to meet up for coffee and a chat one morning or afternoon?? Lucy

I am not pregnant now but I was about 7 months pregnant when I came to Geneva and had no friends so I can understand how boring it can be here. I have some friends who are new mums. We meet sometimes to have some girls time, if you are interested I will send you a message to join us in our next get together.

Hi Lucy,
Congratulations!
I'm also about 6months pregnant :)
I would be happy to meet up sometime for coffee - I have a most peculiar Starbucks craving these days!

Hi Lucy, I am not pregnant but have a 10 week old daughter and just moved to Geneva 2 weeks ago and am looking to meet up with other new mums for coffee and chats etc as I know very very few people here and get very bored during the day. If you would like to meet up please let me know
Hi bishy, I would love to meet some other new mums in Geneva, I have done a lot of searching on the internet and everything I find has hefty joining fees. If you can advise any mother and baby meetups for coffee etc i would be really grateful. Thanks, Jenny

HI , I may be starting a new thread here...
I am 23 weeks pregnant looking for other moms -to-be to share the experience. It seems challenging to connect with other pregnant women.
If you would like to meet up , let me know
Elaine

Four other mothers and I recently formed a group for mums to be and mums with children 0-36 months . Membership to the group is free and we generally have 2-3 activities per week.
The group is called Mums, Tots and Bumps and can be found at www.meetup.com

Hi Elaine
I am due tomorrow so I am probably going to be a bit tied up for the next few weeks (!!) but I recently joined the MTB group that Dantan mentions below - I'd really recommend it - they organise lots of events every week.
Hope that helps
Lucy x

Hi pregnant moms :-)
I'm not pregnant myself but my wife and I are expecting our first child any day so I understand, to an extent, your plight.
Next week we'll launch a Groups section on glocals, so if one of you is interested in managing a 'Mums / Mums to be' group on glocals, just let me know.
Good luck.

Thats nice :) Looking forward to it
I'm not pregnant (yet) but I have a lot of kid experience, and not that many people to have coffee with (other than my husband :-)! I'd be happy to meet up one day, I'm working part time as a nanny now. Message me whenever and maybe we can grab a coffee and pastry.
