Hello all, I am hoping someone can share some tips on replacing a Macbook Pro battery replacement. The indicator say "not charging" and the charger gets really hot. I stopped using my Macbook months ago and now really want to get the issue resolved so I can use it again. It is no longer under warranty, I have no idea of costs, or if I can order the battery and replace it myself. Any advice at all would be appreciated. Fingers firmly crossed. Thank you in advance.

Super! Do you advise one over the other? I have looked at both sites and wondered if you had expereince with both that would help decide who to go to. My Mac is in new condition as I hardly use it so am concerned it may become scratched or damaged (from looking at that pictures on one of e sites).

buy a battery from internet (ebay), will not cost you more than 40chf and you can do it your self. it will take only 15 minutes maximum to replace the battery.

Thanks, was thinking of trying that. I hope that spinning ball might be positively impacted by a new battery too, or is that a whole other story?
