Need help transporting my cat tomorrow morning - St Jean to Vesenaz

My sick cat needs to be transported from the vets in St Jean to the vets in Vesenaz tomorrow morning at around 10 am.

He needs to spend the weekend with the vet who is "En Garde" in Vesenaz.  For some strange reason the vets do not do the transport themselves.  Even though these two are husband and wife.

Could anyone spare half an hour of their time to help me with this?

Thanks.

Hey Patsy,

Also just saw your post now, sorry.

Just curious: the lady who ended up helping you out is a glocals member? If so, may I know her name, so I can send her a "thanks" note?

The cat had a ruptured bladder and it was touch and go whether he would make it.  Unfortunately, as it was the weekend he had to be moved to Vesenaz on Saturday, then to Thonex on Sunday and then back to St Jean on Monday.

I would not have been able to do this without the help of member Lannah.

You are a star Lannah - and the best news is that he is coming home today!!  My neighbour will come down and carry him home for me.

Another thing, I have only praise for the vets who have cared for him.  So can recommend them all.

Actually, we got him home this morning.  After a good sniff around, he wanted to get outside.  Vet's orders - not allowed out for at least a week!!  Woe is me.  He is now asleep in MY seat on the couch.

But the purrs were massive!!  And my happy tears were too!!!
