I want to rent a car and check out some nearby mountains and take some pictures. Any suggestions on where I can go? Somewhere close-by and scenic? I am thinking day-trip.

I've heard of Mobility (http://www.mobility.ch), a site where you become a member for a price and then you can "borrow" cars for certain hours. It's a car-sharing scheme. I haven't tried it myself, but I've been told it is highly convenient for renting for few hours, and it is similar to the Zip car model of the US, if you know it. For longer than a day, people have recommended the more standard places.. Hertz, etc...
